Who we are
Holy Spirit Lutheran Preschool is a ministry of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, open to the children of our community as well as of our congregation. We serve preschool and pre-kindergarten age children, providing them with life skills that will benefit them in kindergarten and beyond.
The preschool’s STEM-PAN based program encourages children’s natural curiosity and love of learning through meaningful, multi-sensory, creative experiences. (STEM-PAN is Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics through Play, Art, and Nature.) Our teachers create an intentional learning environment rich in materials and mindset that encourage discovery, creativity, and imagination. Our curriculum provides structure with flexibility, allowing for plenty of interest-led, child-directed, play-based learning.
As disciples of Christ, teachers support spiritual and social-emotional development by modeling respect, inclusivity, compassion, and a love of the world God created. We believe playing and learning outdoors allows children to connect with God and the natural world. Because we spend time outside every day, children get to experience the beauty of God’s creation in all weather and seasons.
